He highlights that, due to a lack of transparency and linguistic barriers, many Western governments underestimated the Brotherhood's ambitions. However, growing awareness has led to increased scrutiny and more proactive measures against such groups.Scheibner also underscores the Brotherhood's strategic use of social media to spread its ideology and recruit members, making them difficult to counter effectively.
